A few days ago Toon-Chat (an unofficial Newcastle United messageboard) had it's plug pulled by it's hosts after a request from the club. The club said that the board had copyrighted material posted on there without permission. Even if this was the case the club and the server should have alerted the owner (Phillip Craig) of the board to this so he could remove said material. Mr. Craig checks his e-mails regularly so it is very doubtful he recieved an e-mail requesting that the copyrighted material should be removed. We at Toon-Chat feel this is unjust and the board should be aloud to remain up on the world wide web. If you agree, whether you're a Geordie, Mackem, Smoggie, Manc or Scouser please sign this petition and show that that fans WILL NOT be silenced.
