Glasgow Caledonian University Students' Association (GCUSA) strongly believes that GCU should re-consider closing down the student webmail system. GCU should instead re-invest funds to developing a webmail system that is responsive to all students needs and meet the 2010 GCU vision.

This is a disgraceful decision to take, especially with no student consultation. Lecturers and tutors aleady refuse to contact students utilising free web-based email programmes, so exactly how will students be able to contact staff, and vice versa? After
