Set Back District 9 Release Date

District 9, one of the greatest films of the 2009 summer, has been set to release on December 29, 2009 for DVD and Blu-Ray. While this may not pose a problem to some, those who celebrate Christmas and wish to give this movie as a gift would be unable to do so on this holiday because the release date is obviously after Christmas. It would seem to make more sense to release the movie before or at least on Christmas so that people can go gift-shopping for it. More money would come out of it.
