Whereas;
SInce 1998 Sidney Ward has had a little over $2 million in reserves for use in Sidney Ward. Reserve funds are mechanisms for accumulating cash for allowable purpose. Reserve funds should have a plan for repenishment and should not be used on projects afford by the CIty's operating capital budget.
We the undersigned petition The City of Quinte West as follows:
To hold a referendum in Sidney Ward as to whether the Sidney Ward reserves should be spent at this particular time.
