Bill Anthony, a sleep expert from the University of Boston, stated that a short nap can improve a persons mood and performance. It can also lead to a better concentration, longer task persistence, and less mistakes.
Various researches regarding the benefits of napping have been done over the years. Implementing a siesta break at work will not only improve work productivity, but it will make employees less stressful and willing to perform their task. It is a win-win situation. Companies will experience better work productivity and employees will get extra time during their lunch breaks to relax.
