Alex Rodriguez has opted out of his contract with the New York Yankees. This is the perfect opportunity to sign him to a long-term deal. The future HOF'er already hit 500 home runs at the age of 32. He is on pace to hit more than 800 home runs and more than 3,500 hits. We can have the this guy in the HOF as a New York Met. He will fill up Citi Field and also make money for the Mets organization.
