I've been skating roughly 5 years in West Islip, New York, and its been a hassle to get back and forth to other skateparks that are in the area, or should i say all the way out in Copaiuge. Im not here to demand you to make a skate park in the area, although i am here to suggest and provide you with an understandment of our needs. Now, usually we would skate at local spots, but lately, people are getting fed up with all the "ruckus" as they may call it. Not only is a skatepark fit for a fun time, it keeps us kids out of trouble, and keeps us active. So many roller bladers/skateboarders are just praying for a park to be built near by, but we can't seem to get the word across. I am not sure that you will take up on this suggestion, but if you do i want to let you know it would mean alot to the kids of the town. Thank you for your time.
