Skateboarding is becoming more popular than ever, and the number of kids participating in it has grown drastically. There is a problem however with where these kids are to partake in their activity. When skateboarding is made illegal at so many places, and is frowned upon by society it really only makes things worse. After telling the kids so many times to leave, or to not skate somewhere, they begin to feel as though all they can do is be told what and or what not to do, and sooner or later rebel against their directives. We must get a skate-park or skateboarding facility in York, Pennsylvania. Skateboarding has become the absolute heart of millions of children across the country. But often times the love of these children can lead to fines and arrests, all because they have no place designated for skateboarding. A skatepark is absolutely needed here in York Pennsylvania because with the number of skateboarders rapidly increasing, a place will be absolutely neccessary for these kids to skateboard. Anyone who skates knows how hard it is finding a place to go to and have fun with your friends while skateboarding, and they know how much a skatepark would mean to them. Thousands of kids everywhere want this, and thousands of kids in York want this as well. We must have a skatepark in York Pennsylvania.

they really need a good indoor skatepark in York because they shut down First Capital Skatepark and sum others so now skaters havta go to the schools to skate n then get fined... cuz sum people just dont have the room or money to have skate ramps of there

Yea everyone needs a skate park unless you want them skating everywhere else and just have them damage stuff when it isn't really there fault and didn't take in to concideration to think that they needed somewhere to skate at and not cause so much trouble

Give the kids a skatepark! It will keep them off the streets and from skateboarding in areas where its prohibited.
