Step Up Law Enforcement in and around Downtown St. Pete

We, the law-abiding citizens in and around downtown St. Petersburg, are concerned with the recent amount of criminal activity in our neighborhoods and the lack of action by local law enforcement. The increased incidents of robberies, auto theft, break-ins and vandalism are not acceptable. What's worse - local police are not doing anything to stop it.





Up and coming neighborhoods like Crescent Lake and Old Northeast deserve the time and attention. These areas attract young professionals and quality individuals who want to see an improvement. Our neighborhoods are in jeopardy because theyre close to bad areas, making us easy targets for criminal activity. Undoubtedly, the good members of the communities will be driven out, and the neighborhoods will downward spiral if the police are not on our side.





We want increased patrolling in our neighborhoods. We want our stolen goods returned. We want criminals to be captured and punished for their actions. We want better response times to emergency calls. We want competent law enforcement officials. We want safe neighborhoods. This is a plea for local law enforcement officials to stop letting us down. For this reason, we urge all St. Pete residents to sign this petition. Together, we can make a difference.
