From an early age, I've been horrified by animal experimentation and I have done anything in my power to speak out against it. Recently, I received an e-mail from http://peta.org (I am on the mailing list) that said:
"The Palmer Chiropractic University System, which is currently subjecting rats to cruel, invasive, and deadly spinal experiments, is adding cats to its list of potential victims.
Palmer must end, not expand, its use of animals in its research program. Animal experimentation is cruel, unethical, and misleading and is contrary to the values that have shaped and created alternatives to conventional medicine, such as chiropractic. Furthermore, data obtained by experimenting on rats and cats cannot be accurately extrapolated to humans. This is especially true in the case of chiropractic medicine, as the skeletal structures of bipeds and quadrupeds are extremely different."
If you find this as sickening and outrageous as I do, please sign this petition as it will be sent to the President of The Palmer Chiropractic University System. Animal cruelty can only go on as long as the public does nothing about it. Please speak out for those that can't do it themselves.

There is no reason to be using harmless creatures that were here before us, and acting as if we are God. It's ridiculous. With all the technology I'm sure you can find plenty of other ways to cure humans from freakin back pain.
