Stop Bud Poliquin's writing

To The Post Standard:

For a number of years now the Syracuse community has kindly supported you and make your paper one of the best sellers in Central New York.

With that said there is one writer who most of the Syracuse community despite. Bud Poliquin is one of the worst writers i've seen in quite a while now. You might think that I alone share this opinion, but here are a few comments that Syracuse residents have made about Poliquin and his writing:

"...his articles are terrible...he thinks he is funny, but i can never get passed the first paragraph.... "

" You always have to skip over the first few meaningless paragraphs of his articles to get to the meat of the story. It is like being stuck in a boring one-way conversation with someone who won't get to the point. Less odd metaphors and more meaningful facts would be nice. "

" moved from Syracuse a year ago to Boston. I always thought that Bud was annoying and that his articles were weak. After reading the columnists here, it becomes very clear that Bud is and always will be a small time columnist that simply is not that good."

These are just a few examples of how the Syracuse community feels about Mr. Bud. We, the Syracuse community, come today and ask The Post Standard to please stop or limit Mr. Poliquin's writings. Syracuse deserves someone a little better than Mr. Poliquin!
