Stop Samantha Flannery

When I was 9 years old, my brother (12) and I went outside with our dog Dusty. We had new neighbours trying to fit in. Their dog was outside with two boys at the age of 7 and 3 doing something. My dog Dusty is very protective of me and my family, Dusty thought their dog Bob was going to attack me. Their dog came running up to Dusty and Dusty was wallking towards Bob. They suddenly got into a fight. Samantha Flannery came running out with a wooden cricket bat and started beating Dusty harder and harder. I could see blood already from where i was standing and that wasn't that far. My brother was still trying to break them up. I ran home to tell my mum she told me it was going to be fine but it wasn't. The fight ended, Samantha Flannery rang the City Of Casey Council telling them that my dog attacked her child and I saw the whole thing and Dusty didn't even go near the children. Later that day some people of the council came and started talking to my parents and then they took Dusty away to put her down. I was sitting on my bed crying my eyes out. I ken she didn't do it. I knew they thought wrong. This happened in 2001.
