The Town of Stouffville has received an application for a site alteration for a property located at 5783 Bloomington Rd. If approved, the application would allow the owners to dump approximately 1.8 million cubic meters of fill into the site. That would mean hundreds of thousands of trucks and would take more than 5 years to complete. It is the feeling of the undersigned that approval of this application would have a negative impact on all of the surrounding property values, cause respiration issues because of the dust it creates, increased truck traffic, create unacceptable noise levels for residents, destroy areas of natural beauty and put our drinking water at risk.
We the undersigned do not support the approval of this application and petition the Mayor of Stouffville as well as the Stouffville Town Council to reject this application outright:
