Stop The Practice of Multiple Executions

Two inmates were scheduled to be executed in Texas on April 20, 2005, both at 7:00Pm. The practice of multiple executions is both cruel and inhumane. There is only one gurney, one execution chamber, etc. Although there may be additional staff, the facility is not equipped to accommodate two executions. This could cause the execution to be rushed, causing a botched execution. It's cruel to the second inmate, and to his family and friends, to suffer the anxiety and fear of the wait. This shows that executions are taken too lightly and with little consideration. It shows to the world that the state of Texas is a butchery state. This practice must be stopped in Texas and in all the other execution states.
