School is supposed to provide a safe learning environment where kids can get an education without fear or oppression. But the educational experience is developing into a prison experience with the greater use of "drug dogs". The canines are brought to schools periodically by a private company, where they sniff out drugs throughout the campus. Not only do they sniff areas of the campus but random students are stopped throughout the day for no reason, they belongings taken and sniffed by the dogs. It is a major violation of privacy and the school system has no right to use tax dollars inthis manner. The program ends up doing more harm than good anyways as most "busts" are students with tylonol or anvil. These students are severely punished and they receive a mark on there permanent record. It must be stopped.
