Stop uneeded math work

This petition hereby states the unecessary use of advanced mathematics in schools. For example, advanced measures such as quadratic formulas, therums, Congruent Triangles, similarity statements and so on, do not help ordinary people in the world today. Only students majoring in such fields that require these advanced skills should take these courses. People majoring in other fields, such as journalism or history, should only need to know the minimal math lessons, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc. Increasing our students' minds with such intricate math procedures is keeping them from explanding their minds to the matters in life that truly "matter." So please, help us relieve this uneeded math from our schools today.
