TO the U.S Congress I think it is a shame that War-mart inc would go after Debbie Shank Who was hit by a semi truck back in 2000 and now has to live in a nursing home.Debbie who is now brain damaged and has no short term memory her husband Jim shank who now has two work to jobs just to cover cost.To go after the the Shank family to recoup money because of a clause in their workers benefits contract is absurd.WAL-Mart took in $90 BILLION in the third quarter last year but still they want to take back the $470,000 it paid this woman after she was in an accident.IT is not a store I would want to shop in.Please sign this Petition to help support the shank family

I think that this is quite pathetic. Walmart is one of the most successful companies in the world. Supposedly it supports families, but I dont see that notion here at all.

Wal-Mart can overcome the precedence issue which worries its lawyer in such extreme cases. I'll never set foot in Mart again if it doesn't waive its demand on the Shanks. Shame.
