Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered topics have been overlooked far too long in school curricula. We know that you understand this and are developing a Grade 12 elective, Social Justice, that examines GLBT issues, in addition to those of other minorities. We fully applaud your decision, which will aid in the creation of a more open, diverse, and inclusive province. We encourage further reviews of the BC curriculum to ensure inclusion of such material whereby deemed necessary.
