Support off-leash areas in California State Parks

We support Senate Bill 712, your proposal for the State Department of Parks and Recreation to conduct a feasibility study regarding state park locations and conditions that would support off-leash dog activity.

This is an important initiative, recognizing the significance of the dog in the American family group and the need for recreation areas where the entire family can enjoy the outdoors together.

We are sensitive to environmental issues and are eager to work with the State to identify areas for consideration and reasonable rules of behavior so that the State Park experience continues to be enjoyable for all users.
