Den 1 januari 2000 дndrades relationerna mellan Svenska kyrkan och staten, vilket gцr att kyrkan inte lдngre kallas statskyrka. Dock sе дr fortfarande Svenska kyrkan till viss del styrd av riksdagen, genom Lag om Svenska kyrkan (1998:1591), Lag om infцrande av lagen om Svenska kyrkan (1998:1592), Lag om registrerat trossamfund (1998:1593) och Lag om avgift till registrerat trossamfund (1999:291).

Vi uppmanar politikerna att дndra pе systemet sе att Svenska kyrkan inte till nеgon del styrs av riksdagen lдngre.
