We're undersigned commuters depend on MTA Long Island Bus, which is operated currently by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, but owned by Nassau County.
All due to Edward Magano's Action, MTA will continue to operate Long Island Bus until end of this year.
Starting, next year, Long Island Bus will be privatized operation to First Transit Inc, MT Transit, Veolia Transit Inc.

Here are following buses affected by cut:
N1, N2, N8, N14, N19, N31, N33, N36, N45, N46, N47, N50, N51, N54, N55, N57, N58, N62, N73, N74, N78, N79, N80, N81
N88 Freeport-Jones Beach
N16 Saturday
N25 Sunday

This also affect seniors and disables who depends on Able-A-Ride paratransit which will not provide service on discontinue route.

Great Neck, Plainview, and Elmont folks will be stranded with no transportation alternative.
Please send message to both MTA and Nassau County Executive Edward Magano, we need our Long Island Bus and Access-A-Ride to keep running.
