The Anti-Naley

1. Naley is 100\% contrived. No one really acts like that and the couple is completely stereotyped. In real life, Nathan would never have forgiven her as quickly or as easily as he did.
2. Through the process and evolution of Naley, Nathan's character has slowly deteriorated. At the beginning of One Tree Hill, Nathan was the badboy. Since meeting Haley, he has become devoid of his true self, and continued to be a "lapdog" for whatever Haley wants. He refuses to stand up for himself.
3. Haley left Nathan. She didn't even ask him to go with her. Instead, she pretended to be dating another musician for publicity, kissed said musician and rarely returned any of Nathan's calls, and when she did - she was angry that he didn't want to see or talk to her.
4. After Haley cheated on Nathan, he tried to move on with her sister. However, he could not stoop to her level and remained faithful to Haley. This shows that Haley does not deserve Nathan and he also should never have forgiven her.
5. Whenever they fight, Haley whines and complains until Nathan gives in to her. That's not healthy - it's controlling.
6. Neither completely trusts the other. Haley always assumes the worst about Nathan and Nathan will always "wonder".
7. They got married simply so they could have sex. Enough said.
8. They are cheesy and overrated. In 3.16 Haley used their "always and forever" thing to identify Nathan. That was unnecessary and completely ruined their relationship.
9. Having Naley together for all three seasons has done nothing more than make their relationship "stale." Having new couples with the dissolution of Naley would definitely help to make OTH one of the "It" shows, as well as make the show more colorful and unpredictable.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read our petition and see our reasoning for a "Naley-free" season of OTH. We are devoted fans of OTH, and most of us have not missed an episode. This is what we truly believe, and we would like to thank you very much for reading and contemplating our wishes.
