This is a petition urging you to resign as a member from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) with immediate effect.
FIFA's slogan is "for the good of the game", yet it is very clear that FIFA's ethical conduct is not guided by the interests of the game and for the good of football.
It is not acceptable for the FA to be a FIFA member until a complete investigation of FIFA has taken place and all allegations have been properly scrutinised.
The allegations against FIFAs transparency and ethical conduct are as follows:
Four FIFA executive committee members -- Jack Warner, Nicolas Leoz, Ricardo Teixeira and Worawi Makudi -- engaged in "improper and unethical" conduct in the 2018 bidding.
Three FIFA officials, Nicolas Leoz, Issa Hayatou and Ricardo Teixeira were paid bribes by FIFA's marketing partner ISL between 1989 and 1999.
FIFA executive committee members Issa Hayatou and Jacques Anouma were paid $1.5 million to vote for Qatar in the bid for the 2022 World Cup.
In addition, on 29th May 2011, Mohammed Bin Hammam and FIFA vice-president Jack Warner were suspended from the FIFA executive committee on charges of bribery.
On 30th May 2011, internal emails sent from FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke allege that Mohamed Bin Hammam "bought" the 2022 World Cup finals for Qatar.
Suspended Fifa vice-president Warner made public the e-mail, which also questioned why Asian football boss Bin Hammam was running for Fifa president.
Valcke wrote: "[Hammam] thought you can buy Fifa as they bought the World Cup."
On the same day FIFA President Joseph Blatter denied any internal crisis and committed to stage the FIFA Presidential as planned on 1st June without a full and thorough investigation into these allegations of bribery, corruption and unethical behaviour.
This is unacceptable.
The FA as the governing body of English football must resign from FIFA immediately. A full and complete investigation into these allegations must occur before any the FA has any further involvement in FIFA. This is in the interests of the game, its reputation and justice.
