Unfortunately, the players of MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online localized in Russia are once again compelled to declare that the company Mail.ru doesn't cope with its localizer duties. It is expressed in the following:
-) Absence of the appropriate AAA-project level of support service; no 24/7 service on weekends. Absence of server moderators that leads to unreasonable flood, curses in the user channels by inadequate trials-accounts users, and also open announcements on sale of game gold and accounts.
-) Lack of events and poor event-management of administration are leading to turmoil and absence of pleasure from an event (due to bugs during "PvMP-intrusions", misbalance of arranged "pvp-tournaments", absence of GameMasters in the specified points in typical quests (such as find the specified place and so forth).
-) Lack of the localizers goodwill to develop the project by involving new players is expressed in total absence of advertising about Lotro in mass media: on the Internet, in press and on TV. Moreover, advertising level of other localizers projects is considerably higher even though these are not the AАА-level games.
-) We are embarrassed by the Devil-may-care attitude to the game community, by lack of information about current and upcoming updates, and in certain cases by unfair banning of those users which try to object. Community managers dare to ignore the official game forum, and the manager of the project answers questions only once in a few months.
-) Finally, we consider that the main problem is the delay in installation on game servers of the update Book 3.2, that reached in comparison with US-servers already almost half a year! Moreover, the localizer did not inform the users about updates for 2 months, repeatedly (3 times) broke the declared terms, motivating this by inconsistency of programmers work on billing system and later by Turbines denial to send the working game assembly.
Thus, we suppose that you have to admit that the localizers inability to resolve the abovementioned problems for such a long time should lead to the break of the agreement on game localization with Mail.ru. We ask you to take the Russian game servers under control or to transfer accounts of the Russian players to American servers as it has been made with the European version of DDO.
