This is a petition to get The Mighty Boosh BBC TV series 1 released on BBC DVD and VHS.
The Mighty Boosh, written and performed by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding and produced by Babycow, was first broadcast on BBC Three on 18 May 2004, and is soon transferring to BBC 2 where it will reach a wider and more diverse audience.
The first series of The Mighty Boosh was received with great critical and audience acclaim. Some of the undersigned saw the TV show when it was first broadcast, and would dearly love the opportunity to see it again and have the option to watch it as and when we want. Others may have only caught a few episodes and want to fill in the blanks. Many others have not had the opportunity yet to watch the television series, but have been brought to the wonderful world of the Boosh thanks to the BBC Radio series, soon to be released on CD. Whatever the reason, we want The Mighty Boosh TV show series 1 in our video and dvd collections.
The second series has been commissioned and is currently being written which proves it is a show which the BBC are proud of and is well received by viewers. It is a series which will enter the TV comedy hall of fame and is unlike anything else around - it has formed its own genre of television and is accessible to all ages.
By signing this petition, we are expressing a great interest in a BBC release of The Mighty Boosh TV show series 1.
