The Re-Release of HALLOWEEN to theaters

The purpose for this petition is to have the original HALLOWEEN re-released to theaters! A couple of years ago the hit musical "Grease" was re-released to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary, "The Exorcist" was also re-released to theaters along with "E.T" and many other classic, landmark films. In 1978 John Carpenters b-grade movie "HALLOWEEN" was released to theaters and attacked by movie critics. Although word of mouth spread and "HALLOWEEN" went on to become the most successful, independent horror film of all time, grossing a massive $50+ million(and still going) off a budget of only $300,000. "HALLOWEEN" created the slasher genre, not a year goes by when a studio doesn't have a slasher movie on its calander, shouldn't the creator if this frenzy be recognised for what it has given the horror industry? HALLOWEEN has a very large fan base, although many of those fans were not even born when the film was originally released and would love to experience HALLOWEEN on the big screen! Not only would the younger generation of fans like to experience it in theaters for the first time, but the older generation would like to re-live the experience. So please sign this petition and let the Studio know that YOU want to see HALLOWEEN re-released to the BIG SCREEN!!!
