The Sovereign Punt petition

This is not a cheep shot at anyone in Dail Eireann however, lets be honest over the past number of years our country has been gifted away without even an argument by those who have been elected to represent the people of Ireland. In addition to this Patrick Honahan the governor of the Central Bank has done nothing to defend families by allowing the ECB to again hike up mortgage rates. Jean- Claude Trichet says mortgage rate hikes are for our own good, how would this be monsieur le Trichet? Between mortgage rates and water charges Irish people will find themselves homeless, their former homes will be auctioned off cheaply. There are a number of other unjust issues that could be mentioned. Broken election promises for one, Britain wanting to look at our books etc. This petition is not just open to people living in Ireland alone but also to expatriates and visitors.
