Your new Star Trek film is the worst idea since New Coke. No Star Trek fan wants to see any other actors besides William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy playing Kirk and Spock. Also, stop trying to update the original show! The effects still look fake and still will 40 years from now. So, who exactly are you trying to impress? This "updating" of the show is an insult to all of those who worked long and hard to make such groundbreaking effects 40 years ago. It is also an insult to the incredibly loyal fans, whom without you wouldn't even have a frachise. The best way to save the franchise is to stop the franchise. Take a break and when the time is right, Star Trek will be back.
