The Third Commandment

This petition does not promote or endorse any religion, nor does it denounce any organization, by signing, you simply agree that taking the Lord’s name in vain is cursing, and should not be allowed during prime time when children are present. It should be removed, and/or not allowed just the same as other curse words are not allowed during prime time in accordance with the FCC.

The USA is the greatest Nation because our Forefathers founded it placing God First, One Nation under God! By allowing this vulgar obscenity to be said in front of our children is wrong in every way!

Example: I had a week day afternoon off so I turned on the TV, and a major motion picture I never seen before was on this regular cable network channel around three in the afternoon. In this one scene they had multiple curse words beeped out; but allowed the Lord’s name taken in vain over seven times! This was not on a premium channel or in the am, any child could have easily been watching; and would assume this is normal and accepted. I wonder how many did watch it.
