From March 8 to April 12, 1977 the BBC broadcast a series entitled "Three Piece Suite" on BBC2. In each episode, the versatile Diana Rigg portrayed three different women in three separate sketches. The series was a tour de force with diverse sketches; from the highly comedic to the tragic, and were penned by top British writers such as Roy Clarke, Dick Clement, Terrence Brady and Charlotte Bingham. Since then it has not been repeated or received a video or DVD release. We petition the BBC to produce a DVD release of this series, alongside any related materials (publicity, advertisements, interviews, etc.) Some reasons to release it include: (1.) Diana Rigg is an actress popular worldwide, and there are many fans who would love to see this, either for the first time or again; particularly as these series demonstrates the diverse range of her abilities. (2.) A star supporting cast of Tony Britton, John Cleese, Bob Hoskins, Patsy Rowlands, Peter Barkworth, Barry Norman, among others, contributed to the series. (3.) Similarly the aforementioned writers have many fans who would appreciate the chance to see their work. (4.) Three Piece Suite is a BBC comedy that is held in high regard, and that many people are willing to pay money for the DVD. Please release it, so that both the public can enjoy it, and that you may benefit from the sales. Thank you.
