This is my husbands plight, and fight to show that he is totally innocent of a crime he did not commit over 35 long years ago in Suffolk County New York. Its very simple, he will "DIE" behind gray prison walls innocently if we do not find the desperate help that we need to get this back into the courts. I have tried to get this known, out in the open, no one will listen to me, or its always a closed door, we believe you, but we receive no assistance.His is not the only known case, there are more, coming out of Suffolk County, the very same Police Department, and District Attorney's Office.There is evidence that this Police Department and District Attorney's Office was very corrupt, let me show you.

Newsday, Suffolk County Edition did a report in the year of 1986, the report was,"The Connffession Takers" December 7th-19th,1986.
The New York Commissioners of Investigation did a 200 page report on Suffolk County New York,this report was published April 1989.This report can be found by going to, The New York Commissioners Web Sight. Parts can be read.

I have worked side by side with my husband for 12 very long years, I have 100\% concrete evidence of his innocence, and so does he. I have completed a package, there would be very little work involved if only we could get a Attorney to do this pro-bono, and take it back into the courts, the research is completed.

My husband was convicted on a "Oral Confession", a confession he never gave to the corrupt detective, Detective Edward Halverson of Suffolk County Police Department, the detective who was proven years latter to be very corrupt, the detective who tried desperatly to put a stop to the investigation that was done by "The New York Commissioners of Investigation".
The prosecutor in my husbands case is once again Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County. In the year of 1998 I spoke to him, and I will never forget his words to me, he said,"Mrs. Jennings you did your detective work very well",he also said he remembers my husbands case very well,BUT,that was at least a 3 hour conversation which can be proven by old phone records, he knows the "TRUTH", but he will not come foward in any way unless perhaps court ordered.

There is no evidence what so ever connecting my husband to this crime, as a matter of fact there is no evidence that the girl that they said was murdered was even murdered.What I am about to show you comes out of my husbands "Trial Minutes".There were 2 Human Remains, some how Detective Edward Halverson set this all up.Two medical examiners,Dr Ashworth, and Dr Tijo,and the girls dentist.This is the key that shows my husbands innocence.

The girls dentist handed Detective E Halverson a hand written dental chart,this detective brings in the dental chart, and gives them to Dr.Asworth, the first medical examiner. They do match to the first human remains. The first human remains have 4 impacted wisdom teeth, this was the missing puzzle piece for years, we could not figure out what had happened to the 4 impacted wisdom teeth when Dr Ashworth was called on recross examination he said he recalled that all the teeth were present,"except the 4 impacted wisdom teeth".Now Dr Tejo is called to the stand, here is where we found out that there had to be 2 human remains.Dr Tejo also did the autopsy report, this gets interesting, and here is the proof. The human remains that he examined had no wisdom teeth, this human remain "DID NOT MATCH" with "THE DENTAL CHART".

On Dr Tejo autopsy report it clearly states: Skelitized Human Remains, apperars to be of a young person, 64 inches in height, in the lower, and upper jaw there are teeth missing in the back of the mouth, "The wisdom teeth".It was clearly stated there was no cause of death, they could "NOT TELL", if "THE HUMAN REMAINS", was "FEMALE OR MALE",the blood stain that was found, they could not determine if it was human or animal, and the autopsy report was to be continued and never was.The girls dentist was never called back on re-cross examination to say that the dental charts was actually the ones given to Detective Edward Halverson.There is many more inconsistentcys in my husbands case, but this is the core of evidence that proves his innocence.

We worked with Barry Shecks Innocents Project in New York for over 2 and half years, but of course they can only prove innocence through DNA Evidence. We found out after 2 and half years that my husbands evidence was ordered destroyed by Detective Edward Halverson, and Suffolk County District Attorneys Office not even 5 years after my husbands trial. I have all the proof on this.

There was a alibi witness, its now 35 years latter, she is still willing to come foward in my husbands behalf all these years latter. Detective Edward Halverson lied, said my husband was never with this person. She is a retired Army Sergeant living in North Carolina today, and just a phone call away.

On Appeal "The Supreme Court", noted if it wasn't for the oral confession given my husband would have never been convicted of this crime, a oral confession soley given in court by Detective Edward Halverson. There was no signed confession, my husband never confessed, there were no notes ever taken by this detective, and his partner Detective Richard Dean never testifyed at trial.

Along with all of this, the girl was seen at school the next day, and in the house by one of her brothers, its in the "Trial Minutes",she was also seen in the City of New York a month latter stabed with the name Jervey Allan printed on her leg, again Detective Edward Halverson hid this information, said it was rumor, these very important witnesses were never called to trial to testify that the girl was seen. Jervey Allan was a prime suspect also.

Now it makes one really wonder what really happened here? Was/is this girl still alive now today, did she take off into the city of New York with this Jervey Allan? She was a known run away because of what here biological father was doing to her. The funny thing is, this human remain was not found untill two and half months latter on a known street that the father said he was on every day. June 5th/1970 is when the girl disapeared, this human remain was found August 21st/1970, guess who, the father found her, thats what is in the Trial Minutes, but yet in The Pre-sentencing report it clearly states a group of kids found this human remain.

All they found at the crime scene was a human remain with some scattered clothing from this girl, there was so much clothing missing that this girl had taken with her to a school concert the night of June 4th/1970.

My husband, Frederick Jennings is totally innocent of this, we need help, please, is there any one out there that believes in "TRUE JUSTICE", sign our petition please, and perhaps get this known, getting this back into the courts is what we truly need,,,,,God knows I have tried so very hard. There are more known cases, I am trying to help yet another man, his case is so similiar, he has been incarcerated for 32 plus years by the same Police Department and District Attorneys Office. You can see the almost identical Police Misconduct in his case, his name is Keith Bush. Keith Bush was also railroaded, in his, he to can not get his DNA evidence, in his case we do not know if it still exist or not, Suffolk County is hiding the information from him.He to got convicted on a confession,a mere young boy at the time taken into Police Headquarters and beaten by Detective Rafferty with a phone book, kicked in his groin area untill he signed a confession, they were known to beat people into signing confessions,if you read the two reports, Newsday,The Commisioners report, the evidence is all there. In Keiths they convicted him on what a 14 year old run away testifyed to, latter she recanted her entire testimony, and the judge had said she had grown into a very disturbed young woman, keep in mind though how grimmy Suffolk County was, when Keith tried to appeal this, the county was still under investigation.Prosecutions witneses were drilled into stating a time of when they left a party. In Keiths trial minutes, a witness clearly testifys how the police kept pushing her to say that she left this party between 1:00am-2:00am, when actually she had no idea what time it was that she left. Time plays a major part in Keiths Bush trial, even the medical examiner states the time of death, he was told by the police the time of 1:00am-2:00am is when they assumned this girl was killed, the medical examiner followed by what the police had told him.

Again, in this one, the girl was found, but in this one it was only 2 and a half days latter, yes, she was identifyed, but the funny thing is, they said she was murdered on January 11th/1975, between 1:00 and 2:00am, her body was discovered in a vacant lot, a vacant lot that the police passed by,suppossingly searched the night of January the 11th, and there was no body there.The following day there were children walking through this lot, they discovered the body around 3:00pm, but yet the night before when the police searched there was no body, there for she did not die when they said she did.

Keith Bush had numereous witnesses to testify in his behalf at trial, again they took the word of a Detective in this case, plus the bogus signed confession, he was 17, frightned, and beaten.In his case also, the blood stain, they could not determine if it was animal or human, same, further investigation needed by "The medical examiner", of course it was never done.Both men had "NO ATTORNEY PRESENT" while being interviewed by the police, there were no Miranda Rights Given.

At the end of these two trials, my husband Frederick Jennings was sentenced with A Legal Aid Attorney that knew absolutly nothing about his case or trial, he was told that his lawyer died.
In Keits case, at the end of his trial he was told that his Legal Aid Attorneys father had died, so his was a mis-trial to be continued, and then he got convicted at a latter date. You decide, doesn't it seem very odd, unlikely that there was a death, one was the attorney, the other the attorneys father?

This is their plight, they are innocent, and if you think there is only two, there is more, there is a case right now in the courts in Suffolk County, has been for a few years, a well known case, this man got lucky, he has 100\% back up, people on his side, I wish him the very best, and I truly hopes he wins. Because if I do not get help very soon my husband will surely die in prison.
