For many years, the University of Michigan-Dearborn (UMD) has existed without any sort of football team. The closest thing that we have is an intramural flag football league. We, the students of UMD, wish to change this forever. UMD is a premiere master's-level University and it deserves a football team of its own. I do not attend U of M Dearborn, but I think it is imperative that every major college have its own football team. It is a sign of independence and prestige that everyone has come to expect from the University of Michigan in any of its forms.
