Vote to have Brad Beven inducted into Triathlon Australia's Hall of Fame

This petition will be presented to Triathlon Australia to encourage them to induct Brad Beven into their Hall of Fame. The Triathlon Australia Hall was established in 2009 to honour those individuals who have made a significant contribution to the sport of Triathlon in Australia. To date, the following individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Jackie Fairweather (nee Gallagher) , Loretta Harrop, Emma Carney, Greg Welch, Michellie Jones and Miles Stewart I believe Brad is equally worthy of induction as he is the most successful male Olympic distance and sprint distance triathlete of all time. Some background on Brad: - Awarded Prime Ministers award for services to sport. - 5 time Australian triathlon champion. - 7 time Australian Grand Prix champion. - 4 time World Cup champion (ranked world number 1 four consecutive years) - World indoor triathlon champion - Commonwealth Games silver medalist - 3 times silver medalist at Olympic Distance World championship - International Grand Prix Triathlon Champion. - Winner of 19 ITU World Cup Races. (more wins than any other athlete and record still stands) - Ambassador for the Weet Bix Kids "tryathlon series" - Ambassador for the 2006 Life Stream Mackay Triathlon (a charity building self-esteem, independence and inclusion of people with an intellectual disabilities through access to community sport, recreation and leisure activities.) - Head coach at the ITU junior triathlon camp for junior triathletes all over the world in Hungary, August 2006. Brad now runs a highly successful coaching business (Brad Beven Triathlon) where he shares his knowledge to triathletes both experienced and those new to the sport. He is also the coach for Brisbane based Triathlon Club - Club Croc. Please help us to have Brad recognised for his contributions to Triathlon
