Warn Consumers about Mercury in Seafood

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued health advisories that warn pregnant women and children to limit their consumption of certain types of fish due to high levels of mercury contamination. Mercury is a recognized neurotoxin that can cause learning disabilities and other developmental problems. Please require grocery stores and restaurants to visibly post these warnings wherever seafood with high levels of mercury is sold, so that consumers can be aware of these risks and make informed purchasing decisions.
