Dear North Tyneside Council,
We are signing this petition because we feel that there needs to be provision for skateboarders in North Tyneside.
Currently to take part in this activity in a safe, skate friendly environment it is necessary to travel out of the local area. Skating on the streets often causes unwanted disruption for local residents and can be unsafe to those participating in the sport.
We feel that a North Tyneside skate park would be of benefit to skaters and residents alike and urge the council to build a skate park into their plans for the regeneration of the area.
