In 2005, Nintendo unveiled what was to become their next gaming console, codenamed Revolution.
The name spoke to the concept behind it, as instead of focusing on simply making a more powerful gaming platform, Nintendo chose to redesign how we play games.
In April, 2006, Nintendo changed the name of the console to Wii, claiming that the code-name Revolution expressed their direction, but Wii represents the answer.
We, the undersigned, disagree with that decision, and are hereby through this petition urging Nintendo to reconsider the name Wii and release the system under the name Revolution
