Who is silent gives consent - Calling religious leaders to fight terror

We,the citizens of the world, appeal to our religious leaders; His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of of Constantinople, the following Grand Mufti's/mufti/Islamic councils: Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullaah Aal ash-Shaikh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Mohammed Rashid Qabbani (Lebanon), Ali Gomaa (Arab Republic of Egypt), Muhammad Rafi Usmani (Islamic Republic of Pakistan), Nazim al-Qubrusi (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), Mustafa Зaрrэcэ (Republic of Turkey), Ahmad Bader Hassoun (Syria), Syed Isa bin Mohamed bin Semait (Republic of Singapore), the Indonesian Ulama Council and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. We would also like to appeal to the various Hindu political parties and influential leaders of India; the Prime Minister of India, members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajan Zed, the film directors/producers, actors and actresses and musicians of Bollywood, India - your skills in story-telling inspires a great deal to many Indians). We also call upon Buddhist leaders; His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Reverend Thich Nhat Hahn, the Reverend Joseph Goldstein and the Reverend Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero.

We, the faithful followers of God and believers in moral ethics, as taught by the scriptures of every known religion on earth, would like our respective leaders to diffuse their insights and influence through all their institutions, civil, political, or literary and to implement tougher religious sanctions that includes banishments, shunning publicly, the persons of your religious communities who have twisted and maligned the faiths of billions of adherents around the world through evil acts such as terrorism. "Qui tacet consentit" or "Who is silent gives consent." Our world has witnessed so many atrocities in the name of religion and we would like our amiable leaders to help spread the word and verbally condemn, excommunicate or issue fatwas or siruv against leaders of terror and pronounce them Takfir or Cherem. We should no longer keep silent on those who kill in the name of God and appear as though it was consented. Help us.
