I want to write a powerful yet simple message to the Police Commissioner of Mumbai (D. N. Jadhav) in response to his insensitive comments about the abuse and injustice of 2 women in Mumbai, India who were sexually assaulted on the eve of December 31, 2007 and PETITION him to publicly apologize to ALL women for the acts of these men. And I would like him to reprimand them for their indecent actions with the most severe punishment permissible by the Indian Constitution. If he chooses to not accept our request then he should be forced to resign from the post given to him to protect the Indian people by the Indian people. Furthermore, he should be forced to be punished himself by being subjected to walk the streets of Mumbai with the women who deal with teasing, groping, demeaning, and disgusting behavior of the common Indian man on a daily basis. He should be made to dress in a womans traditional attire, the sari, and be forced to deal with this injustice first hand. And I would then like to see him say it's not a big deal.
