We, the undersigned, hereby categorically announce our support for doing away with SECOND DAY YOM TOV in the diaspora. In a world where we know the calendar with certainty into eternity, in a world in which we strive to cling to Torah while leading productive, exemplary and contributing lives, and in a world in which imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and we want to flatter Eretz Yisrael as much as we can, it is time to emulate her one-day minhag!
