Youth and Narcotics - The Need to Know

We believe that more comprehensive education on the negative affects, AND positive affects, as well as a distinction in the varieties of affects produced by different kinds of major narcotics, is the key to satisfying many young people's curiosities in such matters, and giving them the information they need to understand narcotics. We believe this will greatly reduce the number of young users of this generation, and addicts of tomorrow's generation. It is vital that more comprehensive drug education (including real life experiences relating to negative and positive affects) be required in all schools across America. We can not always stop our children from participating in certain activities. But we can make sure they know what will happen to their bodies if they do. And we have to tell them the full story. If their teachers show them only the negative side, they will undoubtedly lose their trust.

And if they don't trust the experts, who else do they have to trust? Except for those of their friends who show them only the positive side.
