A Call for Immediate Tax Reform!

As time goes on, our Government seems to be wasting tax dollars more and more. They are unwilling to do anything about the porous borders; they won't help inner-cities (as cleaning up the crime therein would induce the return of businesses and a resulting increase in the tax base); they won't improve our schools (which are trailing so many other industrialized nations' schools in standards and efficacy, despite being higher-funded than the other nations'); they won't do anything to reduce healthcare costs (which are rising because of illegal aliens and gangbangers inundating ERs, AND the incessant class-action litigation pushed by career lawyers/politicians); and they will NOT do anything to curb the emigration of jobs (which happens because of increasing regulation, taxation, and ridiculous healthcare costs). So maybe it's time to cut off the bulk of the cash flow; as we would be more willing to enact community improvements ourselves (as this nation's founding fathers intended).

We insist that the following tax reforms take place.........

-> A MAXIMUM of 10\% income tax (the Fed, State, and Local municipalities could divide this amount 5\%, 3\%, and 2\% respectively, or however they choose).
-> A property tax of 1\% MAXIMUM.
-> Taxes on utilities shall NOT exceed 1\%.*

NO OTHER TAXES shall be assessed. The Government needs to become accustomed to improved budgeting skills. There should be no difficulty sustaining the vital functions of infrastructure and military with the aforementioned tax reforms.** The redundant bureaucracy can be trimmed; and the appropriations, subsidies, and entitlements can be eliminated.

Also, we DEMAND the following.
--> Having the option to OPT-OUT of Social Security and/or Medicare. It's our money; we should have the option to choose WHEN and HOW to invest, and what kind of medical insurance we desire.
--> Sales shall NOT be taxed. The products were already taxed during production. (Companies are taxed already, as a condition of being "self-employed", and via property taxes); and our purchasing dollars were already taxed.

*If Government must expend resources to acquire or manage resources, the assessment of taxes may take place on communications, utilities, etc. but the taxes SHALL NOT EXCEED 1\% of the balance of any account. This includes vehicular fuel.
**Simple Economics. If tax rates are lowered, the treasury would actually experience either equal or increased revenue. A lack of unreasonable regulations and a lack of progress-hindering taxation burdens would allow businesses to expand (including startups), resulting in a greater flow of tax revenue to the Government. Consumers would have more to spend; and businesses would have more customers.

Overtaxing businesses will only expedite the departure of jobs overseas. The aforementioned reforms will reverse the job emigration, and allow ALL OF US to live the "American Dream". Holding public office should be an honor and a privilege, NOT a medium for acquisition of substantial revenue. It's not fair that we - The People - struggle just to make ends meet, while the Government continues the perpetual spending spree without any regards at all. To the politicians, we insist that you fulfill the true obligations that your office warrants. And keep your constituents working and living a decent life; and keep America strong.

This is not the USSA. Lower our taxes; and enable Social Security participation to be a choice instead of a requirement. We insist.
