Against New Prostitution Laws

The Conservatives are planning to implement laws regarding prostitution in Canada based on the "Nordik" model, meaning they are going to criminalize the gentlemen who purchase sex. This will only serve to push the industry underground and not to create trust between the law and sex workers. The educational "exit" programs are a waste of tax-paying dollars because no one will attend with such a creation of distrust as these Nordic model laws will create. Sign the petition forcing Stephen Harper, Peter MacKay, and Joy Smith to reveal the data collected on their website and not hastily decide to adopt these laws when the Supreme Court had already struck down laws restricting sex work and making it more dangerous – just as these will do.
