This petition is to make a new amendment stating that anybody of any age can run for President.
I, Patrick J. Mascio, would like to hold the office of President of the United States of America. Seeing as I will be sixteen when the next election is held, I am not legally allowed to run. I'd like to change this. I believe that it should not matter how old the candidate is. If a candidate has legitimate ideas and is serious about running, then he/she should be allowed to run regardless of what age they are. I have ideas that could greatly improve the situation that our beautiful nation is currently in, but because of the age restriction I am not allowed to be an official candidate. I am being restricted from challenging myself and reaching my full potential. America is all about "liberty and justice for all". Not "liberty and justice for all over the age of 35".
