"AIRWOLF" for UK television return
Sign Now
The many British, Scottish, Irish and Welsh fans would like nothing more than to see their favourite programme aired uncut, and on a channel where there aren't so many Digital-On-Screen (DOG) graphics that continuously spoil and plague the visual quality - e.g. UKTV Gold, Bravo.
It seems vastly unfair that the likes of "The A-Team", "Knight Rider", "Miami Vice" and "Magnum, p.i." receive countless re-runs, yet "AIRWOLF" is neglected constantly, time after time. I do hope, which ever one of the networks listed below reads this petition, and makes a obvious note of the amount of signatures, will take this request seriously. "AIRWOLF" is still going strong, 22 years since it first hit our screens on October 5th, 1984 on ITV (now known as ITV 1), peaking with more than 12 million viewers, plus the excellent sales figures of the 1st Season DVD box-set is a prime example of the series' cult following.
The UK television networks that we, the fans of the "AIRWOLF" series, would prefer to see the show's broadcasting rights bought by, and re-run on (of course though, only one terrestrial network and one digital satellite network can own the rights to the show simultaneously, or any show for that matter) are:
BBC 2
ITV 1
ITV 2
ITV 3
ITV 4
Channel 4
five
Sky One
Sky Two
FX
