AL GORE IS MY PRESIDENT

Though I vow to follow the laws of the United States of America in every way during the next four years, in my heart, I know that Al Gore won the Presidency.

I will respect whoever may take the oath and lay claim to the office. But wherever Al Gore (or his Vice President, Joe Lieberman) offers leadership or guidance, I will listen. He won the popular vote in the U.S.; I believe if all the votes were counted throughout Florida, and had Florida had a fair and accurate election, Al Gore would handily have won. I believe the exit polls November 7th were correct. For these and other reasons, I pledge to Al Gore my respect and my allegiance.

Mr. Gore is a martyr for Democracy. He fought tooth and nail for our voices and our votes. He won morally as much as literally. He did not waiver.

May god bless and keep whoever takes the office on January 20th. May our country not remain divided by bitterness and disagreement. And may Al Gore know that many of us pay him this respect and loyalty.
