All Voters Are Equal, But Some Voters Are More Equal Than Others

Hamilton city council has decided not to revise ward boundaries in time for the 2014 municipal election. The current ward boundaries result in some Hamilton voters having far more representation than other Hamilton voters. If you sign this petition, you are telling our city council that this is not acceptable, and must be remedied in time for the next election. All that is needed to start the process is a petition with the signatures of 500 Hamilton residents. This petition will allow this matter to be taken to the Ontario Municipal Board. They have the authority to force Hamilton city counil to take immediate action. The Ontario Municipal Board has done this before in the city of London, Ontario. Now it is Hamilton's turn.
