We call upon the Government of Canada to bring the death penalty back to this country.
The bleeding hearts were responsible for the abolition of the death penalty back in 1976; they will forever be responsible for the millions of hearts they broke as convincted killers received lax sentences.
Now, with a Conservative government in power, the opportunity has arisen to right a wrong. The death penalty should be made mandatory for the following: first, second, and third-degree murders, possession of child pornography, distribution and creation of child pornography, treason, child molestation, rape, statuatory rape, and attempted murder.
In addition, the government should take the initiative to scrap the Youth Criminal Justice Act and make offenders as young as twelve eligible for the death penalty.
Finally, the method of execution should ensure the offenders die as slowly and painfully as possible; thus, the methods should boil down to three options: immolation, drowning, or death by firing squad.
The majority of Canadians have had it with slap-on-the-wrist convinctions. They want real justice. Justice they shall get.
