As Editor, I firmly believe in FREE SPEECH but here in Canada, I do not believe that such a name for a CD should be promoted to young hip-hop fans in light of the crime rates here in North America. Nine police officers killed in 30 days in the USA, Oakland, Miami and Pittsburgh, teenagers and young adults in their 20's gunned down all over Toronto, Canada.
The lovely city of Vancouver taken over by gang wars and yet we are getting ready to host the winter Olympics there, many young children of immigrants getting cut short in the prime of their lives in Calgary, Alberta and other Canadian cities....even 35 kids under 21 dead in Chicago in 2009 so far. Cam'ron himself was shot in his Lamborghini vehicle in 2005.(Google that)
Why would he put out a CD titled "Crime Pays?" CAM'RON AND DIPLOMAT RECORDS SHOULD FOLLOW IN RAPPER NAS'S FOOTSTEP. CHANGE THE NAME OF THAT CD NOW!OUR CHILDREN WILL EMULATE THIS. Track #1 is a SIN! "I hate my job" is telling our kids not to get an everyday job and just go back to the streets! Some of you may think I may be helping sales. There will be no sales until it's changed!
