We, the fans of Halloween, feel that a sequel to Resurrection is necessary. Halloween: Resurrection was left open for a sequel but, we the fans, have waited too long for that one sequel. The Halloween franchise is being brought down a path where there isn't a point of return.
We believe that Rob Zombie's remake of the classic John Carpenter's Halloween took the wrong direction for the franchise. And with Rob Zombie's Halloween II considered being the worst Halloween in the franchise, making a third installment to Rob Zombie's Halloween films and a sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween II isn't worth a risk.
Please consider taking the franchise back to it's roots and finishing off the real and only Halloween franchise. Doing a sequel to Halloween: Resurrection is the only way to go to keep the older Halloween fans interested.
Combining Halloween: H20 and Halloween: Resurrection with the "thorn" trilogy of films: Halloween 4, Halloween 5, and Halloween 6; the fans believe it would be a great way to end off the franchise.
