Bring Hepatitis C Treatment to Medicare's Attention

This petition is to bring to the attention those who are in charge of Medicare and the lack of interest they seem to have in helping those with Hepatitis C receive their treatments. Many times, those with HCV are denied their treatments by Medicare until the illness becomes terminal and incidentally lead to death.

To those in charge of Medicare, please look upon this issue thoroughly. The people you deny treatment are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, children, cousins, grandchildren, and friends. They are human beings, wanting to live the life we all want to live; one of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This debilitating illness has a great prognosis if caught early and treated accordingly. Look into your hearts and see that those who ask you for help in receiving their treatments truly need it and amend your policies.
